Natasha du Coco is the founder of the du Coco Brand which includes Art du Coco, Paint du Coco, Style du Coco, Chef du Coco and Café du Coco.  It started in 2012 when Natasha introduced Art du Coco as the provider of world-class quality chalk paint that she branded Paint du Coco.

Since Natasha was a child, she has been fascinated by how paint can transform anything to something magically beautiful.  She grew up watching and helping her father paint furniture, their home and even the fruit trees around their home.  She has always been awed with how chalk paint changes and transforms things.  She is passionate about her art and her dream was to be able to share her love and passion of chalk painting with others.  This dream became a reality when she started offering her services to other people by introducing her own brand of chalk paint that she marketed as Paint du Coco.  Paint du Coco is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.  In addition to paint, Art du Coco also offers a wide variety of waxes, brushes and stencils as well as classes to give you everything you need as you embark and use their products to create your own masterpieces.  Natasha showed people how easy it is to create something beautiful by using Art du Coco products.

Natasha and her husband, Gert, traveled the world and lived in a few different countries before they came to Colorado.  In addition to sharing her passion for her art, Natasha also wanted to bring and share the European and other cultures that she came across from their travels to the people of Colorado.  For a couple of years, Natasha and Gert toyed with the idea of opening a unique European Tea Room.  This came into fruition when they found the perfect spot in Downtown Littleton.

The historical building in Downtown Littleton was not just the perfect place for the tea room but it was also the perfect medium to showcase Natasha’s artistic talent.  Natasha transformed the space into a beautiful venue with its own unique style she pegged as Style du Coco.  With the space ready, Café du Coco was born and opened to the public In June 2018.

Café du Coco is the unique European Tea Room that Natasha and Gert envisioned.  They created their own blend of teas that are available for sale at the Tealicious library located on the second floor of Café du Coco.  Also available are Sweets by Natasha du Coco, which are assortments of European pastries that are perfect to savor with the Tealicious teas or purchase as gifts.

The Café du Coco location is where you will find Natasha these days.  Having the space to hold the du Coco brands in one place, you will find that you can have high tea at Café du Coco on the first floor and the terraces and do some shopping on the second floor.  The second floor also holds the Art du Coco Academy where Natasha continues to provide workshops to people who like to learn the art and techniques of chalk painting.

Café du Coco is different because it also offers unique events that elevate your experience. Here are some upcoming events to look forward to:

On September 16, come for tea, bring your own piece of furniture that you would like to paint and join Natasha as she shows you several painting techniques that will help you understand the art of painting furniture with chalk paint.   What a nice and relaxing way to learn how to paint while you drink tea.

On September 20 spend an afternoon with the Abbot Tinh Mann from the Compassionate Dharma Cloud Monastery in Morrison, who will be sharing his traditions of meditation and drinking tea.   If you are curious about different traditions, this event is one you shouldn’t miss.

On Fridays at 6 pm and Sundays at 12 noon from September 28 to November 4, Café du Coco brings you High Tea with the Nutcracker.  This is the event of the season! This special partnership between Cafe du Coco and the The Denver Ballet Theater brings you the special experience of being able to drink tea and enjoy the music of Tchaikovsky as dancers from The Denver Ballet perform excerpts of the Nutcracker.

Natasha vowed to make everything around her beautiful—- that is exactly what she’s done!  Her hope is for anyone who enters Café du Coco to be transported to experience the romantic European culture and enjoy the unique, unforgettable, peaceful and calm atmosphere that Cafe du Coco provides.
